This function was in support of the Friends of Stellenbosch Museum.
It was a wonderful celebration and we want to thank everyone who made this occasion so special, not least the many enthusiastic visitors.
Those of you who have not joined 'The friends of Stellenbosch Museum' yet, we would like to encourage to do so - you will enjoy their interesting program and functions and the excellent company!
On this day, Sona Buys had very efficiently organised a joyous party with Champagne and delicious refreshments (Caterer: Art Café). The architect Wilhelm Krüger gave a highly interesting talk on architecture in Stellenbosch and 'The Stellenboys', Morné Goosen, Helen Schlaghbauer and André Labuschgne delighted us with their music. Listen to them, playing Summertime, Sway and Sealed with a kiss! Aart Bijl, the architect of Bruynzeel House, sent us very interesting information on the construction of the house (in 1962).
