Frans Groenewald studied at Stellenbosch University (BA in graphic design, Hons in photography, cum laude, 1992). In 2002 he turned his talents to painting. He contributes illustrations to children's books, various newspapers, including cartoons for Eikestadnuus and magazines .
He also designs logos.
