Frederik (Frikkie) Johannes Lombard was born on 31 October 1953 in Bellville.
He attended school in
Windhoek and Bellville and studied at the University of Stellenbosch.

Frikkie Lombard is a member of "Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir Wetenskap en
