Journalist and Chief Editor of Die Huisgenoot until 1985
Edward (Eddie) du Plessis studied at Stellenbosch University (BA 1955).
He was a journalist in Cape Town and published over 40 books. He spoke several
European languages, among them Russian.
Eddie was married to Helga. They had a son and a daughter, Bernhardt and Anna Marie.
